LONGHORN SILHOUETTE — EARLY PREVIEW v2 — NOT YET PHYSICALLY TESTED
Blocksmith Works · Rich and Codex · 15 October 2026

Design width:3 inches (76.2mm), excluding the wider supporting base.
The positive UPPER contact shoulder follows the outer design with nominal1.524mm(.060in) margin,
with nominal0.75mm rounded upper exterior edge.
Negative geometry is unchanged fromv1.
All files use millimeters. Print at100% scale with flat underside down.
Includes positive/negative STLs and reinforced Bambu Studio project containing BOTH.

DESIGN / FIT
Positive only revised; v1 negative is unchanged.

Underside website marking0.5mm deep,2.013mm high,horizontal atY13.5mmbeside fingerhole.
3.5mm nominal felt allowance remains provisional; not physically tested.
Turn the negative over about its front/back (Y) axis to align the mirrored cavity.
Nominal felt allowance is3.5mm in XY and3.5mm vertical over forming features,
not an exact3D surface-normal offset. Narrow expanded cavities may merge.
Do not scale only one part or mix designs/revisions. Prototype on scrap felt first.

PRINT SETTINGS
The3MF retains the P1S/0.4mm template:5walls,15%gyroid,0.2mmlayers,
5top/3bottomlayers,supports off. Both objects have the same reinforcement settings.
Select your actual printer, nozzle, filament and bed and inspect the complete slice.
These static files do not inherit online Workshop Printer Setup.
Positive retains one nominal19.05mm underside socket with curved roof. Longhorn and A&M have wider lower flared sections to preserve socket walls; the upper contact shoulder stays tight.
Retained sockets have no extra dowel clearance. Both undersides have recessed website marks.
Inspect surfaces and smooth printing artifacts before felt contact.

EVIDENCE AND LIMITS
Serialized meshes, mm dimensions, package integrity and configured settings checked.
See DESIGN.json and CHECKS.json. No installed-slicer or physical printing/forming,
material, heat, steam, release or hat-fit result is established by these checks.
Thin horn tips, star points, outline ridges and letter gaps may form less sharply
than they appear in CAD. Start with scrap felt and report the design/version.
