Replaces the smaller v1 topper with the supplied taller positive/negative set and updated underside branding. The original remix isolated the pendant relief, removed the rim and loop, trimmed claw attachments and filled the underside. The three uploaded print files are retained unchanged; mesh warnings are disclosed in the instructions.

Cross hat form set

A 2½-inch-high positive Cross base with 10 mm relief and matching negative for nominal 3.5 mm felt. This revision lengthens the horizontal crossbar by ¼ inch total on both forms and adds a 2 mm radius to the negative’s outer felt-contact edge. Both retain recessed BlocksmithWorks.com markings; the positive retains its two round sockets.

Adds 6.35 mm total to the shorter horizontal crossbar (3.175 mm at each end) on both forms. Both oval bases widen smoothly by 6.35 mm to support the longer crossbar. The negative upper outer edge has a 2 mm radius; its inner forming cavity retains the nominal 3.5 mm XY felt allowance and original depth. Longitudinal dimensions, relief height, recessed markings and two 19.05 mm curved-roof positive sockets remain. Karl Gansen supplied physical feedback on the previous set; this revision has not yet been physically tested.

Before your first trial

  1. Import at 100% scale in millimeters, with the flat base down. Select your actual printer, nozzle and material. Some packages contain reinforced Bambu Studio settings; others contain geometry only. Read the model-specific notes and instructions.
  2. Review the complete sliced preview. Check small features, overhangs, supports, and underside lettering.
  3. Inspect and smooth the printed forming surface. Try scrap felt before using the tool on a hat, and tell us what needs improvement.

Print success, felt fit, and heat/steam performance are separate results. These toppers are not brim blocks. Any future brim preview will still require its matching size/profile/revision coupon before a full print.
